Meet this lovely youngster Kilo. He is just 10 months old and is looking for a new home due to no fault of his own. 

He is a typical Akita with lots of energy, bounciness and curiosity. He needs someone who is prepared to give him lots of attention and encouragement. He gets very excited when meeting new people and will need stimulation to manage his energy bursts. However, our assessor noted that he would benefit from someone with Akita or large dog breed experience as this is something lacking in his current setting. Our assessor tried corrective commands and Kilo listened and was keen to respond post which he received treats and took them gently. 

Kilo loves attention and given his curiosity and energy levels he will strive with a family that can provide him with lots of walks and access to a big secure garden to run around in. Given this we believe he would be better suited with children over 12 years old who are dog savvy. 

He will definitely make a great companion to someone who is looking for a typical akita with the best of their goofiness and bounciness. 

We recommend he should be the only dog in the house and new owners to have large breed experience.
