This handsome boy is Angel, but don't let the name fool you he is a cheeky chap!

Angel is just under 3.5 years old he has found himself at the RSPCA after his owners surrendered him when they no longer wanted him. The staff at the rescue say Angel is a bundle of fun and he just loves to learn, his new owner will need to work with him and teach him some boundries whilst continuing with his training. He has unfortunately has learnt a few cheeky habits, like nibbling on your clothes for attention and mouthing so a home with breed experience is required. Angel is very clean in his kennel and walks very well on the lead, he is not phased by other dogs but will react when another dog growls at him by growling back, however he does not lunge at them. This gorgeous bear can often be found snoozing in the office whilst the staff get on with their admin duties. He will require an owner that is around for most of the day initially to help him settle in after living in kennels. Angel is a typical Akita he can be a little aloof where strangers are concerned and a little nervous so we feel he will need a few meetings before he can go home. Angel will need an all adult and pet free home. Angel does have a few medical issues, he has blocked tear ducts which don't cause him any trouble, he has mild spondylitis, a small bone spur and mild hip displaysia which is easily managed by a daily doses of Metacam but don’t let this put you off. Angel is a lovable rogue who really needs a chance at his happy ever after, he is neutered, chipped and fully vaccinated and so ready for a home to call his own. This handsome cheeky chap really does have so much love to give and he wants to give that to YOU!
